Abstract
Japanese motor vehicle statistics are tabulated and grouped through the year 1978. Vehicle-in-use data are provided for cars, trucks. buses, special purpose vehicle, and vehicles by year of first registration. New registration data cover cars, trucks, and buses. Production statistics are given for cars, trucks, and buses. Statistical information on motorcycles and motor scooters are included that for vehicles-in-use. A list of member manufacturers, with addresses, is appended.
