Abstract
The motor vehicle traffic accidents referred to in this report are those occurring on public roads and streets, including boulevards and paths adjacent to the travelled portions. Non traffic accidents are those occurring on private property or elsewhere not on a public way and are excluded from this report. The information contained in this series is basted on police records. When only property damage is involved, reportable accidents are based on a minimum of $ 100 damage in all provinces and territories.
