Abstract

Transport will remain necessary as long as we can plan ahead, and motor vehicles will continue to carry the heaviest burden in the future, while there will be no realistic alternative to replace the motor vehicle. And increasing, awareness and knowledge of traffic hazards such as pollution and congestion calls for better planning and harmonization of the motor vehicles standards.
