Abstract

The past decade has witnessed a large increase in the number of motorcyclists present in the population. This increase had led to an increase in the number of motorcycle accidents occuring. Several countermeasures are introduced for the different patterns of motorcycle accidents, which are discussed. Research activities in this field and conclusions are presented.
