Abstract

The development of motorcycle safety education programs is described, including the Beginning Rider Cource and the motorcycle Task Analysis. Steps in defining the key elements of a task are outlined. Technical approaches are employed so that information could be determined which describes the motorcyclist's task in terms of safe operating behaviours, knowledge, and skills.
