Abstract

The modern motor cycle provides convenient transport at low cost, and adds very little to the congestion or pollution of our roads and cities. However, it provides little protection for rider and passenger in a crash, and requires special skills to ride safety. The information that follows in this booklet on selecting, riding and maintaining a motor cycle is aimed at reducing motor cycle crashes and the severity of injuries.
