Abstract

An earlier report, "Recent Trends in Fatal Motorcycle Crashes" (See C 23482), examined trends and rates of motorcycle riders (motorcyclists) killed in motor vehicle crashes during the ten year period 1990-1999. This research note compares recently released results from the 2000 Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS) to the trends and rates in the earlier report. (A)
