Abstract

Motorcyclists' visual behaviour was examined and compared with that of drivers by an eyemarker method. Accident data show that collisions between motorcycles running straight ahead and automobiles turning right are most typical. The findings of the study throw light on motorcyclists' failure to detect vehicles turning right oncoming vehicles, crossing vehicles and pedestrians.
