Motorcyle safety driving education at a high school and its results.

Abstract

A motorcycle operator education course given at the Hamamatsu Johoku Technical Senior High School in Japan, which incorporated classroom instruction, audio-visual aids, and behind the wheel instruction, was effective in reducing student motorcycle accidents and traffic law violations from 65 to 29 between 1965 and 1970. Methods of instruction are briefly outlined.
