Abstract

The introduction of daytime running lights in the Netherlands is not in favour for the pedestrian following the Dutch Union of Pedestrians. The Union States that each measure in favour for the motorized traffic is not in favour for slow traffic, in particular for the pedestrian, and is therefor not acceptable. The mobility and safety of the pedestrian should be decreased by the measure.
