Abstract

NUSTAR is a General Purpose Multibody Simulation Program System. The numerical code is used for the automatic generation and solution of the non linear equations of motion of multi-body systems. Originally, NUSTAR was developed to simulate vehicle systems. Therefore, a multitude of special road vehicle modelling facilities are available. The interaction between the road vehicle and the environment is considered by several tracks with different roughnessess. For special tasks in vehicle dynamics, the influence of joints affected with backlash and friction can be considered.
