Abstract

Summaries are given of 50 in-depth studies of highway crashes. Each of the summaries consists of basic information on the highway and the vehicles involved, a phase-by-phase description of the sequence of events of the collision, and a list of causal factors, conclusions an recommendations. Finally, as an aid, a diagram of each collision is represented as the last page of each summary.
