Abstract

This research developed a multi-disciplinary team approach to investigate high accident locations to identify the predominant accident types and causal factors and to suggest possible countermeasures. A manual was developed that briefly describes the goals and objectives of the multidisciplinary team investigation, prescribes the professional disciplines to be involved, and outlines a procedure for the members to follow in their field investigation.
