Abstract
A concise survey of multi-objective methods is given. Special attention is paid to methods to generate efficient solutions, to alternative ways to conceptualize the idea of a compromise solution and to a number of measures for the intensity of conflict among objectives. The methods and concepts are illustrated by means of a transportation model.
