Abstract

This paper illustrates the adoption of the Multi Criterial Analysis (MCA) methods concerning the evaluation of ITS technology applications. After an introduction, an outline of the wider applied MCA methodologies is given: particular attention has been paid to the Multi Objective Analysis (MOA) and Multi Attribute Analysis (MAA). Deployment of these techniques is discussed with reference to a number of studies where the multifunctional and multiple decision-maker role of ITS have been pointed out. For the covering abstract see ITRD E114174.
