Abstract

The principles of management of patients with multiple facial fractures are outlined. It is emphasized that associated injuries should be treated first. A planned delay will not affect the final results. Furthermore, the diagnosis can almost always be made by physical examination alone. Most of these fractures which appear complicated can be treated by simple internal and external skeletal fixation.
