Abstract
Psychomotor performance data were collected from 80 subjects who drove the Highway Systems Research Car, and 56 of this number who were tested on the Sim-L'Car point light source driving simulator. Seven steering and speed control variables were represented in the HSR Car battery, while ten performance measures were included in the Sim-L-Car battery. Data from each battery were subjected to basic structure, analysis and to a series of multiple discriminant analyses.
