Abstract

Problems facing the municipalities are: relocation of displaced persons, expressway design for adequate access in local traffic circulation, citizen involvement in decisionmaking on relocation, access to neighbourhoods and impact of new highways in the community, scheduling of construction and co-ordination of related projects, and public information and handling of complaints.
