Abstract

Because of the large number of methods of recording accident statistical data it is proposed that the survey technique must be standardized. The first stage would be to standardize definitions concerning the people involved in accidents, vehicle components and circumstances of the accident. The second stage would see the proposal, in a fairly near future, of common data recording techniques.
