Abstract

During 2009 NCHRP published findings from more than 80 completed research projects, launched 52 new and continuation projects, and approved 54 projects for 2010. This Summary of Progress provides concise lists in Tables 1 through 7 of projects completed in 2009 along with listings of the nearly 1,500 other projects undertaken since 1962. The Summary of Progress also presents detailed information about the operation of NCHRP through the Standing Committee on Research of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.
