Abstract

This is the second in a series of publications containing tables based on the 1972-73 national travel survey. Data are presented to illustrate travel frequencies for different purposes, on different modes and by different types of individual, household and vehicle. All tables are based on the seven day recording period used in the survey and show the distributions of households, persons and vehicles making a given number of journeys in a week.
