Abstract

The purpose of this ITE recommended practice is to provide guidance in the overall layout and design of transportation elements for new neighborhood developments, where neighborhoods can be composed of both residential and mixed residential/commercial subdivision development. This report is intended for use by a wide range of professionals and policymakers, such as engineers, transportation and land planners, developers, site-impact study reviewers, and planning and zoning commissions.
