Abstract

The increase of traffic speeding and congestion is on the rise throughout the world. Many municipalities are desperately trying to guarantee a good quality of life in their neighborhoods. The City of Tucson is one city that has initiated a Neighborhood Traffic Management Program. This program has been extremely successful. This paper explains the process, policies, procedures, and results of the City of Tucson's Neighborhood Traffic Management Program. (A)
