Abstract

In order to stimulate road safety, the Dutch government gives an impulse to the development and application of the on-board computer and the driver behaviour data recorder (black box). The accent lies on the commercial market, especially freight transport, with the objectives of realising logistic advantages and contributing to safer driving (and speed) behaviour).
