Abstract

In the normal human process of getting older the decrease of prestation and speed in visual and motoric processes happens generally. Theoretically this should lead into an increase in divided attention problems and the thereby belonging accident risk in everyday activities such as participating in traffic. Two test methods are described (1) the lateral position control task and (2) the merging task to test reaction times, speed, lane tracking, risk taking etc.
