A new breath alcohol meter.

Abstract

This meter employs the thermocatalytic sensing method stipulated in Japanese industrial standards. The drinking experiment was performed to prove the efficiency of the new alcohol meter model AM-481. Ethanol concentrations in breath were determined by gas chromatography and alcohol meter and both readings were compared. It is concluded that the alcohol meter is practically and functionally excellent.
