Abstract

Results are given of a first attempt at developing a round symmetrical dummy to be used in pedestrian tests. The dummy is designed according to the latest available anthropometric and biomechanical data. Its symmetry around the vertical axis would allow it to have good repeatability for the kinematics as well as for the injury parameters.
