Abstract

The 1996 New Zealand Police Peer Group Review of Traffic Enforcement undertaken by three senior Australian Traffic Police recommended lowering the blood alcohol level to 0.05% BAC. The Peer Review argued that the lower blood alcohol level allows drivers the opportunity to make more rational decisions about whether to stop drinking and whether to drive. (Author/publisher)
