Abstract
In the present paper a survey of various shopping models and shopping analysis is presented. The current - often disappointing - practice of shopping research is also critically reviewed. Some proposals for an alternative - more disaggregated and socio-psychologically- oriented - approach are being presented, while also an empirical illustration is given.
