Abstract

To improve the interest for traffic safety on the local and regional level the ANWB has introduced a bi- annual traffic safety award. The SWOV has selected a number of local authorities on the basis of a favourable development of traffic safety. The ANWB makes the final selection. On the basis of recorded accident data a method is developed for the classification of the municipalities for the 1990 award. See also PB 25502 for the selection in 1988.
