Abstract

The importance of roadside design cannot be over emphasized for its life saving benefits and injury reducing potential. Roadside clearance can be instituted as has been shown in this article. More thought must be given to the concept of roadside clearance as a definitive step toward reducing the number of highway fatalities and injuries.
