This report determines the necessity of traffic lights on ten junctions in the city of Zeist. The used criteria were on the traffic intensity, the waiting time, and on the time to cross. Results show that traffic lights were necessary on two junctions. On four junctions traffic lights were wanted and should be maintained. On two junctions traffic lights were needed, but could be removed on certain conditions. On two junctions traffic lights were not wanted and should be removed.
