A note on some methods for priority determination for roadworks.

Abstract

In this report the possibilities of devising a simple formula for the assessment of road improvement priorities are discussed. As the object in allocating priorities to ensure that the needs of the road user are met, these needs must clearly be known road needs determination and priority assessments are seen therefore as are integrated process in which the de termination of road needs logically preceeds the priority allocation suggested steps to be followed in the setting up of a procedure for the rational allocation of priorities are set out.
