Abstract

Our influence in the automotive community has grown over the past 25 years, but the task of increasing public sensitivity to the serious problems of death and carnage on our highways remains uncompleted. Consequently, our challenge for the next quarter century will be to develop new ways to increase this sensitivity. I also think that new automotive power sources will bring with them new problems in emergency medicine, and debris and hazardous material neutralization and removal.
