Abstract

This is version 1.2 of the NSW bicycle guidelines. These guidelines are designed to assist road designers, engineers and planners to design and construct high-quality bicycle transport facilities for the people of New South Wales. The document is intended to provide technical assistance on a range of conditions particular to the State and should be read in conjunction with `Austroads Guide to Traffic Engineering Practice, Part 14 -Bicycles' and `Australian Standard AS 1 742.9 -Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Part 9 Bicycle Facilities' both of which apply in NSW.
