Abstract

The aim of the paper is to report results from a parametric study of the dynamic behaviour of a helmeted head in oblique impacts to rigid surfaces. The impact situations and particularly the attitude of the head at impact have been chosen with the purpose to enable the study of a certain parameter rather than to simulate realistically a certain accident situation.
