Abstract

This paper presents procedures for analyzing data recorded by Loop-Radarsin order to use them to determine the capacity, the maximum speed, the optimum speed and the optimal density for routes of the city of Sao Paulo, SP - Brazil. The idea was to find a polynomial of second degree, where q=ad2+bd+c, for q equal flow and d equal density, which was the envelopment to the points calculated. This paper was able to determine envelopment and then the desired parameters. The study was done for two express routes, and must now be extended to other routes.
