Abstract

The program (A microscopic event- oriented simulation) is written in Fortran. Three conversational programs (traffic, overall geometry and queues shape) create data for the simulation. It has been validated over about 30 rural junctions. Its interest lies in the comparison of various alternatives (for design or economic appraisal) and in determining the required size for special areas.
