Abstract

After explaining the terms algorithms and heuristic rules the author deals with an experiment in traffic education where two groups of school children were taught priority rules in different ways. One group learned these rules in the traditional, heuristic way; the other was taught by means of algorithmic rules. When making decisions the first group used to hesitate more frequently. The author concludes with a set of recommendations on traffic education of school children.
