Abstract

The queue- problem is generally considered as a social problem. Not alone by the direct involved people, the car driver, but also by the non car driver. The importance of the problem can be determined from the big number of people involved. From the 5.870.000 car drivers 415.000 are daily once or more times in a queue. 7% of the Dutch population finds the problem very or rather important.Increase of excise duties, toll roads and road tax are possible solutions.
