Abstract

The layout and reconstruction of roads in rural areas is determined by traffic intensity and therefore also by recreational traffic. Insight must be achieved to the extent of recreational traffic flows. Recreational traffic is dependent of the weather, but as is shown from a literature survey temperature, precipitation, sun and clouds influence also recreational traffic. In this multiple regression analysis all these variables are used together and a mathematical model and a computer program are made.
