Abstract

The demand to mobility of physically handicapped persons is studied. This can only be perceived in reality as far as use is made of the supply or transport possibilities. If this supply is not used or if there are no sufficient transport possibilities there is an unfulfilled demand to mobility. Recent Dutch and foreign study results are used. The Dutch disabled person adopts a modest attitude as regards his demand for mobility.
