Abstract

This study is based on perceived routes used by car drivers. It analyses the factors which are influencing route choice. It proved to be impossible to estimate independently the influence of time and distance. The procedure which is presented here can be used for further development of research into rat-run traffic and the consequences of traffic management measures.
