The question dealt with by the author is the inspection, in the Netherlands, of the quality of repairs undergone by motor-cars which were considerably damaged in the course of an accident. Methods used for checking whether a seemingly intact car has or has not been severely damaged, are described first. The different inspection operations to be carried out are then briefly described.
