Abstract

Accidents and Activities in the Netherlands, that used to be called Accidents in the Netherlands, is a continuous survey of injuries from accidents, sport participation, and exercising in the Netherlands. Questions are asked about injuries sustained in traffic, during work, during sport, and activities at home. Questions are also asked about sport participation (i.e. the quality and quantity of doing organized or unorganized sport), about the amount of exercise, and about the exercise routine of the Netherlands population. Apart from a brief description of the survey, the most important results are described in this publication. The data covers 2000 and 2001.
