An inquiry was held in 1987 in rehabilitation centres and hospitals to the number of accident victims. In total 1124 accident patients were counted, from which 66% male, and 34% female. 52% of the patients were traffic victims. From the patients 68% is considered as permanently disabled. As compared with 1986 there was an increase in traffic accident victims of 3%.
