Abstract

Door to door travel time is important for the consideration to travel by car or public transport. The travel time factor was introduced to assess the relative quality of public transport in relation to the car. A method has been developed to measure the door to door travel time in a simple and reliable way. To this end, travel time was estimated by models as well as measured in real life, for public transport and the car. (A)
