Abstract

The Dutch professional driver has a good reputation. Professional knowledge and professional skill are on a level on which many colleagues from other European countries can take an example. Besides efficiency of road transport and the good service these aspects have contributed to the quality of the Dutch traffic and transport product. The free European market gives the Dutch transporter new possibilities for a still bigger market. Care for quality and service will be then more important. Specialisation will consolidate the competition- position of the Dutch driver. The CCV certificate guarantees such specialisation.
