Undesirable and aggressive road behaviour represents a problem to road safety. So nowadays many different ways of reducing this kind of behaviour are being looked into. However, Undesirable and aggressive behaviour, apart from being a safety problem, is also a moral problem. The moral aspects of road behaviour have so far not been sufficiently studied. This study takes a close look at them. An initial analysis is carried out of the standards and values that (must) underlie road behaviour. The outlines of road-behaviour ethics are drawn up on the basis of this. At the end of the report several recommendations are made regarding policy relating to road behaviour and regarding further study into road ethics.
