Abstract

Each year in Canada, some 50 people are killed and an estimated 500 injured in railway accidents. These accidents occur at all hours of the day and night, in rural and urban locations and at rail /highway crossings with or without automatic warning devices. A new anti- trespassing program to inform people of the dangers of trespassing on railway property or playing on railway equipment is introduced here.
